Port Postnatal Project

Supporting Local Mums in Their Recovery

LAUNCHING 2026!

About the Project

The Port Postnatal Project is a community initiative by Physio Collective – MNC, created to make high-quality postnatal physiotherapy more accessible for local women. We know that recovery after birth looks different for every mother, and early access to evidence-based care can make a meaningful difference during this stage of life.

Each month, we offer 3 individual postnatal women a complimentary comprehensive postnatal physiotherapy assessment at our Port Macquarie clinic. This appointment includes a pelvic health screening, abdominal separation assessment, birth history review, and personalised guidance on safe return to exercise, movement, and daily activities.

OUR GOAL IS SIMPLE

To support women with honest, informed, and respectful postnatal care, without barriers, without judgment, and without pressure to pursue ongoing treatment.

We created this project because every woman deserves to understand her body after birth and feel confident as she navigates the fourth trimester and beyond. Whether you are six weeks or two years postpartum, The Postnatal Project provides a safe, welcoming space to check in with your body and receive guidance tailored to your needs.

This initiative reflects our commitment to women’s health, community care, and creating pathways for mums to access physiotherapy when they need it most.

Your postnatal assessment is completely obligation-free, with no requirement to book ongoing sessions ~ sometimes peace of mind is all you need!

if based off your clinical presentation more assessments and/or reviews are recommended we are more than happy to guide you on this and refer out if needed.
